- 3Let the child invent a pattern for you to complete.
Frequently asked questions
How long should one task take?
Fit it to the child: 3–5 minutes is plenty for younger children, older ones can work longer. Stop before frustration sets in and come back later.
Can these exercises cure ADHD?
No. They help practise attention and persistence, but they do not replace assessment or a support plan from professionals.
How can I keep my child motivated?
Short tasks, a clear goal, praise for effort and the chance to self-check with the answer key work better than rewards for a perfect score.
